Psalm 4:8 KJV
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: For thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
Dear God,
First and Foremost, I want to give honor unto YOU!!
Lord, as we all lay our heads down, I want to say Thank You, I want to say how grateful I am that you have walked through this day with me. Looking back over today, Lord, I look at the lessons that were taught and those learned throughout the day. I think of Bible study tonight, how the Pastor spoke on “having the capacity to rethink our living” (T.D. Jake’s Wednesday Night Bible Studies); and as I think on this topic, I think of how many of us have lived life built on the lies of others. I think of how we have allowed the words of others to shape our thinking and our actions: many living a life thinking they are worthless and bound for hell. I think of how such a careless use of wording, can determine one’s future. But how My Lord, you have given us the tools to change ourselves for the better and for Your Will.
Lord, as we prepare ourselves for bed, let us think of YOU: let us not think of ourselves as a worthless lump of clay, but a well molded created piece. One that is perfectly made into a well molded piece of art, that has been smoothed and constructed by YOUR HANDS. One that is “imperfectly flawed” purposely to YOUR liking, because as you have said in your word, “You have made everything BEAUTIFUL” (Ecclesiastes 3:11a). Let us remember that it is you that Loved us enough to create us, it is you that has given us a mind of change and of forgiveness. Do not let us dwell on those that have given us a mind of construed thoughts but Thank them and pray for them that didn’t have our best interest at heart, as you do. Let us remember to think of the positivity in your Love and how BEAUTIFULLY MADE WE ARE: how we are not just a lump of clay, but a ‘CREATED PIECE OF ART’, that Can do “ALL THINGS THROUGH YOU”.
May you walk through my home, my children, family, and friends’ home, and shield it from the dangers of this world and prepare it for a peaceful night. May you look over those that do not have a roof over their heads or a bed to lay it, as you watch over them Lord, keep them. I ask that you send someone that can be a help, that you open their hearts to receive the help. I ask that you look over those that are working the dangerous jobs that keep us safe, covering them as they work through this night. I ask that you look in on the sick, Lord, as I lay them before you, in Jesus Name, I ask that Your Will be done in each of their lives. Healing is in your hands, deliverance is in your hands Lord, and it is you that we will give the Glory. Lord, clear my mind of any thoughts that is not pleasing to you, search my heart throughout this night and remove all that is of hinderance and unpleasing. Keep my mind and soul pleasing to you, for if I do not wake, my soul you take, in peace I lay, and your will I take, in Jesus Name, let Your Will be done in me and around me.
May each that reads this be Blessed by YOU and find peace tonight in their bodies, minds, and souls.
In Jesus Name
Your Daughter,
Comekia
